Howe, died at her home here Wednesday morning at 11:10. She had been confined to her bed several weeks with a cancerous trouble. Mrs. Howe was born in Jacksonville Dec. 17, 1860, a daughter of George B and Mary (Norcross) Stanley. She attended the public schools of that town, and on Nov. 7, 1889, she married Dewitt C. Howe of East Dover. Mr. and Mrs. Howe had made their home here since that time. Besides her husband she leaves one daughter, Lula, wife of John Hall of East Dover. She also leaves a grandson, Guy, son of Mrs. and Mrs. Hall, a sister, Mrs. Alta Ryder of Spofford, N.H. who had been assisting in her sister's care the last two weeks, and a brother, Fred Stanley of Halifax. There are slso several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Howe was a member of the Halifax Methodist church since her early girlhood. The funeral will be held at the homeFriday afternoon at 2 O'clock. Reb. S.E.
