SQUIRES OF GUILFORD DEAD Well Known Farmer and Mill Owner Succumbs After Two Years Illness with Bright's Disease Edward P. Squires, 62, a well known farmer and mill owner, and a resident of Guilford all his life, died shortly after 1 o'clock this morning in his home. He had been ill over two years with brights disease and had been confined to the bed the past eight weeks. Born in Guilford March 19, 1863, he was one of a large family of children of the late Charles, and Charlotte (Akley) Squires. He married Miss Julia Morrison of Gill, Mass., who survives with three daughters and four sons; Mrs. Edith Mather of Brattleboro, Edward H. Squires of Ashuelot, N.H., Perry L. Squires, Perley Squires, Clifford Squires and Miss Marjorie Squires, all of Guilford, and Mrs. Guy Ryder of Brattleboro. He also leaves two brothers, Jesse Squires of Brockton, Mass., and Henry C. jSquires of West Brattleboro, and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Greenleaf of Winchester, N.H., and Mrs. Robert Williams of Brattleboro. The funeral will be held from his late home Thursday afternoon at 2/30 o'clock.
