Present at wedding were Alfred Mosier of Sharon, Lydia Loveland, wife of Major Wheatley of Brookfield, and Alsup [?] Latham of Royalton. Pension issued 3 Sep 1833 to sol of Royalton, Windsor Cnty, VT, private and corporal in Capt Tyler's Company, Col Well's Regiment, CT Militia, for 14 months. Sol was substitute for his father [name not stated], served five separate tours of from 1 to 8 months under Capts Abraham Waterman, Joshua Bottom, and Tyler. Enlisted from Plainfield, CT, June 1777. Sol moved to Comish [?], NH, 1782, then to Royalton, VT, in 1795. Sol age 71, 24 Aug 1832. Sol d 10 Apr 1842, Royalton, VT. Wid, res Royalton, Windsor, VT, age 85, states, 25 May 1853, that she bore the maiden name of "POOR & LATHAM." W-1236.
