Pittsfield Town and Vital Records, Vol. 1, page 146
Jonathan Powers and Elizabeth Daly, both of Pittsfield, Vt., were married at
Pittsfield, Rutland Co., Vermont, on February 10, 1820.  

Additional Comments:
The 1820 Pomfret, Windsor Co., VT, census shows that these newlyweds moved
immediately after the wedding.  This 1820 census shows they lived next door to a
William POWERS b. 1750 of Pomfret, Vt. who probably was the father of Jonathan
POWERS. 

Elizabeth DALY POWERS [1797-1834], was daughter of David DALY, Esq. and Martha CALL.
Children were: David Daly POWERS b. 1821 Pomfret, Windsor, VT; Edwin D. POWERS b.
1822 Hartford, Windsor, VT; Almena Melissa POWERS b. 1825 Hartford, Windsor, VT;
William B. POWERS b. 1826 Orange, Orange Co., VT; Adelaid [Eliza] POWERS b. 1829
Orange, Orange Co., VT; and Milton POWERS, b. 1831 Orange, Orange Co., VT.  She is
buried in Village Cemetery, Pitsfield, Rutland, VT.
