Used with permission. To reach the grave site, drive down Shumaker Grade from the Anatone country, turn left (east) at the foot of the grade. The grave site is about 100 yards up the first small point. The area had been farmed around the grave site, which is marked by a pile of rocks - no marker. The land is now owned by Ray M. Horton. Location of grave: NW 1/4 of NW 1/4, Sec 36, T7N, R45E, W.M. Oscar Taplin relates that buried there before 1896 is the first wife of Clarence Taplin.
