Lein May 10, 2006, 2:55 pm Abstracted By: Sheila and Robert Lein Entiat is located on the Columbia River at the mouth of the Entiat River, 17 miles north of Wenatchee on US97A. The Entiat Cemetery is close to Ardenvoir and is about 8 miles up the Entiat River Road from Entiat. The cemetery has three sections - two old, and one yet to be occupied. The surrounding area consists of ancient rock formations, is semi-arid and hilly, however the land running along the Entiat River is highly vegetated with the availability of irrigation water from the river. The crops consist of apple orchards. The cemetery itself is on a carefully manicured hillside with a beautiful view. This transcription is partial - first names and dates will be added in the future.
