Barngrover A memorial service for A. L. "Barney" Barngrover, 74 will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sequim Valley Chapel with Leo Saarela officiating. Friends may call at the chapel tonight from 7to 9 p.m. Mr. Barngrover died in Seattle Wednesday. He was born Dec. 29,1904 at Dallas Center, Iowa. Mr. Barngrover had lived in Sequim the past three years and made his home at Rt. 4,Box 1100-E. He formerly lived at Vista California and retired in 1968 from the purchasing department of Signal Oil and gas company in Long Beach. Surviving are his wife,Helen: daughters Rita K.Beneke in texas and Jane E. Yancy in California: a sister Leone Barngrover in Iowa and two grandchildren. Note: Alton L. Barngrover died 26 Sep 1979.
