HIGHLAND LUTHERAN CEMETERY, CLARK COUNTY, WASHINGTON. The US GenWeb Archives provide genealogical and historical data to the general public without fee or charge of any kind. It is intended that this material not be used in a commercial manner. This notice must remain when copied or downloaded. ____________________________________________________________ Highland Lutheran Cemetery is located in Clark County, State of Washington about 41/2 miles east of the town of La Center. This cemetery had its beginning when a plot of land was donated to the Highland Lutheran church by the Christensen family in the late 1800's. It has been used by the Highland community since that time. It is dedicated to all the Highland pioneers. Four and one half miles east of La Center on N.E. 41st, turn left on N.E. 394th and approximately one half mile west is the cemetery. It is on the corner of N.E. 394th and N.E. 31st. The transcription of this cemetery has been done by walking through and transcribing each stone. There are some markers that are old and worn by time and weather. We have transcribed each stone to the best of our ability. Special thanks to Dick and Marilouise Christensen, Laurel Lacy, and my husband, Lyle Krull for their help in this transcription process.....Shirley Christensen Krull. landsend@pacifier.com JOHNSON F.
