Billy Sunday, the baseball evangelist will open a series of meetings at the tabernacle in spokane on Christmas Day. P. Hintz has taken over the stock of the Commercial Bar and is now proprietor of that dispensary. T.S.Woolson of the Star Restaurant supplied the Editor's family with moose meat this week. The meat was shipped to Mr.Woolson by his brother from Burdette,Minn. The Buhman Bros. have just completed a new residence for Mrs. M.F. Teeson. The work was done in record time and in the most workmanlike manner. Anyone wanting good work done promptly will do wll to call on the Messrs Buhman. The general merchandise store of Peter Young at Ellsworth was burglarized last Sunday night, several gold plated rings and two pairs of shoes being taken. The work was probably done by tramps. J.W.Carr recently completed a fine job of lettering on the windows of the Camas State Bank and Kelley Loe's new office, but the crowning effort of the many achievements of this excellent sign painter, is the decorating of the drop curtain at the Camas Opera House. Donall, eleven and a half acres in the Wiley tract. Mr.Donall is recently from Kansas. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Cox who went to Idaho on a wedding trip returned this week to Clarke County. Mr. and Mrs. Al Hubbard returned last week from their wedding trip and will make their home in Camas. Arthur McKever has gone to The Dalles to spend the winter. Mrs. Scott, of New York, is the guest of her son, Genio Scott of this place. Ed Kersey has moved into the house recently vacated by Arthur Frey.
