LaCamas Post January 9, 1909
Otto Liimatta, of Centerville, stopped off here om his way to Portland, 
Wednesday and visited with Kelley Loe.

James H.Brady was inaugurated Governor of Idaho last Monday. The tenth 
legislarue convened the same day and chose paul Clagstone speaker of the 
House,and John W. Hart  president protem of the Senate.

Justice Self who was injured by the paper mill trolley car a short time ago, 
and taken to a Portland hospital, was expected to return home last week but 
his arm was not improving as rapidly as it should and it was thought best for 
him to remain there for further treatment.

The supreme court this week affirmed the judgement for $3,000 in favor of Isam 
Cook against the Pittock Leadbetter Lumber Co., of Vancouver, for loss of 
three fingers and part of his hand while working in the mill.

E.r.Ptton was a visitor in Portland Wednesday.

Messrs. Farrell and Wright, of the street committee are looking after the 
sidewalks this week.

Dr.Hatfield, accompanied by his wife, was in Stevenson this week doing dental 
work.
