Roffler and wife visited Vancouver and Portland relatives the first of the week. Foster Hovies and wife who have been spending the past two months at Alpha,Wash., returned home Friday. G.C. Austin , of Portland, traveling auditor for the S.P.&S.Ry., was here Thursday auditing the books of the local agent, Mr.Hamilton. Fred Collard, Ray Anderson and Frank Farrell have rented the bungalow acros Third street from the Post and will run a Merry Widow under the sign of "The Red Onion". They will board in the bedroom and sleep in the kitchen. Last Saturday evening quite a number of young folks gathered at the Sheahan home in honor of Marie, Louise, Joe and Edward Shehan who left with their parents this week for their new home in Oregon City,Oregon. A very pleasant evening wa spent by the young people playing games and other amusements. Those present were Bessie and Ina VanCamp, Alice, Ella and George Wright, Hattie and Jennie Witmyer, Nellie,Loe and Mary Haffey, Tod and Douglas McGinnis, Irene Henderman, Theresa VanAllen, Lillie Shaffer, Eileen Sweeney, Susie Pickett, Ida Litz, Neta Fernley and Josie Anderson.
