To the voters of Clarke County:
I hereby declare myself a candidate to the office of State Senator 
representing Clarke County in the 11th session of the Legislature.If nominated 
and elected I promise you my best efforts for Clarke County.I am a firm 
believer in the Direct Primary Law and have so declared myself to always vote 
for the candidate for U.S.Senator who has received the highest number of votes 
upon my party ticket.My record as a member of the 9th and 10th Sessions of the 
Legislature is an open book and can proudly say that I do not represent any 
Company or Corporation but will to the best of my ability give all a square 
deal.Soliciting your suffrage,
