To the voters of Clarke County:
I hereby announce myself as a candidate for the Republican nomination for 
State Representative at the September primaries.I am absolutely free from any 
corporation influence and if elected shall serve the people of this county and 
state to the best of my ability and work for the enactment of a law to 
garauntee bank deposits in this state.I have always been a firm supporter of 
the Railroad Commission measures,economy in public affairs,and direct 
primary,and confidently point to my legislative record in the legislatures of 
1903 and 1907.
