Vancouver Evening Columbian January 12, 1921
Mrs. W.D.Boyer entertained in honor of the 12th birthday of her small 
niee,Verdella Ballensky,Saturday afternooon at her home at 3909 Lavina street. 
The afternoon was spent in games and music. Later dainty reeshments composed 
of a large birhtday cake with its appropriate number of candles on 
it,ices,wafers and punch were served.
The 12 little guests present,including the little honnored guest,Verdella 
Ballensky,Mary Errett,Margaret Potter,Dorothy Blaker,Cezilla Allen,Herriett 
Brown,Anite Palmer,Freda Young, Marie Stuts,Olive Spurgeon,Lucile McCrite and 
Rhoda Poage.
