LaCamas Post February 22, 1908
Gus Swanson plowed a piece of land for Mr.Clinker.
W.E.Houp has nearly all his spring plowing done."Make hay while the sun 
shines" is his method.
Mr. and Mrs. I.R.Fletcher haev returned from a visit to Portland.
Mrs.Jim Wilson has just returned home from a visit.
Herbert Ferren,Frank Eurgman and Jim Wilson have put telephones in their homes.
Mr.Geo Richi is clearing a piece of land,he can raise rocks off it as well as 
other things.
John McQueen is nearly laid up with a sore toe.What is the matter John,to much 
pie?
Mr. and Mrs. Watt Robinson are on the sick list.Grip is taking its rounds 
again.
For sale by W.E.Houp at the Olds farm, a young cow with her first calf,9 pigs 
5 months old,and 8 Poland pigs one week old.to be sold at six weeks old. Come 
now and speak for a pair.
Miss May Laws has been home on the sick list,but is now better and had 
returned to Portland.
Mr. and Mrs. Lex Smith and son visited Mrs.Smith's father,I.S.Laws,over 
Saturday and Sunday.Mr.Laws was glad to have a visit from his grandson so 
soon.
