Canaris and daughter Lillian of Cathlamet,Washington are visiting Mrs. S.A. Hawkins. Mrs.L.Ostrand of Portland spent Xmas at the home of Mrs. Eva Collard. Chas. Baab who is seriously ill with typhoid fever was taken to a Vancouver hospital on Saturday. Bert Allen has charge of the dock until his recovery. Gid Laver, who is attending the State College at Pullman cam ehome to spend the holidays. Mrs. Collard spent a couple of days in Portland this week. Mr. and Mrs. Shelton spent Xmas in Vancouver. Mrs.S.A.Hawkins and Bess Collard spent Wednesday shopping in Portland. Miss Hazel Allen who attends school at Tacoma came home to spend the holidays. Mrs.A.G.Lee and children spent Monday visiting at the home of G.N.Nelson at Vancouver. J.A. Atkins is home for the holidays. Miss Grace Pfister, of Canby,Oregon, visited with the Phelp's girls a few days. Last Sunday was election of officers in the Fishers Sunday School. The following officers were elected for the coming year. Superintendent: Mr.Phelps Assistant Superintendent: Mrs. Arnold Secretary: Leonard Timmons Treasurer: Mrs. Cole Librarian: Annie Powell Organist: Julia Ziegler. A most enjoyable event was the celebration of the twenty fifth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. C.S.Blair in their new home Monday evening. A host of friends and relatives from far and near joined in making the occasion one long to be remembered for its good cheer and sociability. Mr. and mrs. Charles Ziegler, of Stevenson, spent Christmas with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ziegler at Fishers. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Groth and family, of St.Johns,oregon, visited with the Phelps family a few days this week. Mrs. Fox and daughter, Louise, have been visiting Mrs. Fox's daughter, Mrs. Anna Auger in Vancouver several days.
