J.H. Schick is again able to get around after a long illness of rheumatism. The Klehn brothers are going to rent the Mike Nolan orchard on Prune Hill. O.R.Cole and Aldred Loede have been busy cutting wood the past week. J.H. Schick had the misfortune to lose one of his horses last week. Mrs. C.E.Duback, of Mill Plain, was in Camas on business Thursday afternoon. R.A.Copley recently visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Manary, of Mill Plain. Mrs.P.W. Wilmes and daughter, Marie, of West Prune Hill, were Camas visitors Friday. Mrs.J.K.Johnson visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.H.Rowell Wednesday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. E.P.Davis,of Vancouver, were visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roeburg Wednesday. Boyd Traylor and sister, Loretta, and brother, Albert, recently visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. O.R.Cole. Mrs.Andrew Knapp, who is staying with her son, Roy, slipped and fell on the porch one day last week, jarring her quite badly. Mrs.C.E.Hunt and Miss Loretta Traylor called at the homes of the Mr. and Mrs. Roeburg and Mr. and Mrs. J.H.Powell Tuesday afternoon. Miss Ruth Philbrick and her brother, Lewis, and the Misses Mamie and Madeline Holeman, of Camas, were visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hunt Sunday afternoon. Mr.Roeburg has made quite etensive improvements since he has been on the E.P.Davis place.He has put on a new floor of the barn, built a new chicken house and fixed up fences, besides doing some considerable plowing. Felix Van Vleet has purchased two thorough bred barred Plymouth Rock roosters from K.F. West of Prune Hill, with a view to improving his flock. Hereafter he will raise none but thoroughbred chickens.
