Vancouver Independent August 9, 1906
Frank Husion was here on legal business last Tuesday.

John A.Johnson has his mill ready to saw lumber now.

Will Roderick, of Vancouver, was here yesterday on political business.

George Gingrich took a party of pleasure seekers out to Souison Creek last 
Tuesday.

Charles Brother and family started from here last Saturday morning to go back 
to Iowa.

Mat Woodward, Jim Wilson and others started this morning on a trip to the 
mountains.

Wm.Cummings and family started on a visit in the east, leaving here last 
Wednesday morning.

John Fleming went to Vancouver last Saturday to buy some mules but he did not 
bring any back with him.

All last week Andy Culbertson and Ed Hough have been trying to see which could 
be the sickest.It was hard to tell which one was, but they can both get around 
a little.
