Chas.Fox, a young man who had come from Portland for the ball game Sunday,caused quite a disturbance on the train Sunday evening.H was drunk and was refused a ticket here,bu boarded the train without one,and before he reached Fishers was making rough hose for the train men.The police at Vancouver were notified and were waiting when the train arrived at that place.When he saw the police his courage arose again and he demolished a door of the coach in which he was riding,but was taken into custody by the officers.Monday he was given a hearing and was fined $75 and costs. Joe Teeson has been suffering from an attack of appendicitis but is considerably improved now. Deeds to LaCamas property were filed with the county auditor this week as follows: Pittock and Leadbetter Company to John A.Snyder,lot 5 block 10,$150. Pittock and Leadbetter Company to David Johns lot 6,block 13,$125. E.E.Lindsay and wife of Kangley,Washington,arrived here Wednesday and will make this city their home. I hereby give notice to the public that I surrender to Al Hubbard the rigth and title to the championship for Euchre playing which championship I have held fo rthe last ten years.In a game played Thursday evening,Mr.Hubbard shut me out,he getting the entire ten points- Charlie Turner.
