LaCamas Post August 29, 1908
Mr. and Mrs. W.Swank spent Saturday and Sunday at the coast.

Miss Clara Cowen and Miss Agnes Marrin are visiting relatives and friends at 
White Salmon.

Mrs.J.R.Hamilton went to Cunningham,Wash.,Monday to visit her parents for two 
weeks.

W.J.Knapp,a candidate for county coroner,is a well known business man of 
Vancouver,and is one who knows that there is more of Clarke County than that 
which lies inside the city limits of Vancouver.People in this end of the 
county who vote the Republican ticket will do well to vote for him.

The county commissioners have appointed Del Van Camp,M.J. Cavanaugh and James 
Williams election officers at the primary in this precinct.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo.Williams returned this week from Wilhoit Springs,Oregon,where 
they have been spending their vacation.Mrs.Williams' sisters the Misses 
Florence,Cecil and Etna Marts accompanied them home and will visit here till 
Monday.
