Roffler and wife entertained Mrs. A.T.Weston, of Vancouver last Sunday. Bing Yemm, a chines cook, for the contractors at the Fisher rock quarry, was taken to Vanocuver by Marshal Warren last week and placed in jail to await an examination into his sanity. Milton Pritchard, who was suoerintendent of Clarke County schools for a period of four years from September 1,1903 to September 1,1907, has had sensational charges preferred against him in an effort to have his teacher's certificate revoked. He is charged with having been extremely cruel to his first wife and son,Robert, the latter being one of the parties making affadavit to substantiate the charges. Cecil Mills leaves this morning for California where he will continue his course at Stanford university. His place in the McMaster store will be filled by Mr. Patton. Fred Fuller, superintendent of the Crown Columbia mils here is expecting his family to arrive from California where they have been visiting on their way from New Yoek. The household goods arrived last week and the residence is being put in shape for occupancy.
