J.T.Morris and son, Walter,of Rufus,Oregon,visited relatives here the first of the week. Mr.Morris is a brother in law to Mr.Lindeman.He also has two daughters, Mrs.A.M. McNoble and Mrs. L.E.Langford,living here. He is favorably impressed with LaCamas and is thinking of investing in real estate here. Mr. and Mrs. James Short and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Durgan of Washougal were in the city the first of the week,and while here called on the Post. O.D.Wolfe,who has been Porter Bros.& Welcj's superinentendant here for two yers in the constrcution of the Portland & Seattle left this week for Portland. After spending a few days there he will go to Montana to take charge of a piece of construction work there. Ed Walker is spendind a few days at Lebanon,Oregon. Harry White,the finisher's overseer,has been quite sick this week. A team being driven by Mrs.George Acker of Washougal ran away Saturfay morning just east of LaCamas and threw the occupants of the buggy into a wire fence.Her three year old son ws quite severely cut on the forehead. Maurice Osgood,who has been working in one of the local barber shops,has taken place in a Vancouver shop. A.McDowell has sold a half interest in the Up-to snuph barber shpo to Arthur Frey of Vancouver. Will Morris,who moved a few weeks ago has returned to LaCamas. Geo.Chappell made two trips to Vancouver and one to Washougal this week. Mr.Hale,the man who was thrown from the tramway a week ago,was taken to a Vancouver hospital. Geo.Chappell has sold his town property consisting of a house and four lots to G.H.Barbour,recently of Michigan.Consideration $1400. WASHOUGAL Mr.G.A.Young,proprietor of the Next barber shop was married last Tuesday. A party in honor of the Misses Bertha and Emily Webber was given in the Grange Hall Saturday night. Wm.Fraser made a trip to Camas Saturday night. L.B.Ough spent last Tuesday in Vancouver. Miss Marie Eckley was in town Thursday.
