The local Rebekah lodge initiated three new members at the regular meeting Tuesday evening. They are Mr. and Mrs.Wesley Munyan and W.C.Warren. Dan Harmon of Brush Prairie moves his family to LaCamas this week.Mr.Harmon will work in the mill. Harry Nelson returned to Biggs,Oregon,the first of the week,after spending a few days visiting his parents here.His father,G.N.Nelson,is foreman for the S.P.&S. at this place. Mrs.R.L.English and daughter,of Minnesota,are visiting Mrs.English's brothers,Fred and John Hagel. Ex-Postmaster Poindexter has gone to Mound,Oregon.Mrs.Poindexter has been there for some weeks.Mr.Poindexter has not yet decided where he will locate or what busines he will engage in. D.Johns,foreman of the bag factory,returned with his wife Monday from a two weeks visit in San Fransisco. Mr. and Mrs. M.T.Brown went to Northern California the first of the week.They have timber claims there and will make final proof on them. J.W.Schraeder and Ernest Wendt went to Floriston,California,the first of the week,where they expect to go to work in a paper mill.Mr.Schraeder is thinking of moving to that place. Mr.and Mrs. Chas.McKever went to the Dalles Monday to visit for a few days.Mr.McKever is contemplating moving to the east of the mountains country.
