W.F.Burrows left Monday for a three months visit at his former home in Minnesota. Mrs.J.H.Fitzgerald and little son of Medford,Oregon,arived last Saturday and spent the Fourth with her parents,Mr. and Mrs. H.J.Drullard. Mrs.Jack Munyan went to the coast this week for a short stay. A big bargain -12 lots in bearing fruit on the hill.Price $1200.F.B.Barnes. C.E.Pound and wife spent the Fourth in McMinnville,Oregon visiting with their daughter,Mrs.Bones. C.H.Brown has charge of the WigWam Restaurant and is now conducting it under his own management.He will continue to minister to the inner man in his well known style. R.Allen left for Cornelius,Oregon Tuesday. He will work on a farm in that section. Mrs.W.H.Reed,who had been visiting his mother,Mrs.Wallace,for some time,returned to her home in Portland,Tuesday. Mrs.J.E.Parsons and daughter Bertha,of Portland,and T.H.Wilson and two sons,Geo. and Stuart,and daughter,Dorothy of Binghampton,N.Y. visited this week with Rev. and Mrs.Carrick.The two young ladies will remain with Mrs.Carrick for two weeks,but the rest of the company left Thursday morning for an outing in Oregon on the McKenzie river. W.Swank made a trip to Stevenson Wednesday. Miss Nora Smith,one of the successful candidates in the Post's Seashore Trip Contest,went to Forest Grove,Oregon,Wednesday to visit her mother.She will return here in a few days to start with Miss Cowan on the coast trip. F.W.Parker,a banker of Cunningham,Washington,was here the first of the week looking over the field,with a view to establishing a bank at LaCamas.He was much pleased with the outlook on his first visit and will return later to look further after the matter,in the meantime he has local real estate people taking options on sites for a building.
