LaCamas Post August 29, 1908
O.S.Wilcox' little boy is getting along nicely.

It seems fate is against J.O.Wing. Mr. Wing and wife started to Washougal to 
grange and the horse got frightened at the train and ran away throwing them 
out and breaking the buggy into kindling wood,and at night the horse had not 
been found yet.No serious damage done to the occupants.

Mae Chandler returned last Tuesday from Aberdeen,Wash.,accompanied by her 
uncle,W.H.Graham.

Quite a delegation from Portland came up to the picnic.Anna and Elna 
Chiland,Frank Lawton,Edna Davenport,and Mrs.Belle Smead.

Lillie Smead will take your picture now if you can sit still long enough.It 
doesn't make any difference how homely you are she will make you look pretty.

Nellie Marshal is on the hill again after a few weeks stay at Butler,Wash.

Blanche Sampson is home again she has been staying with Mrs. A.E.Fitzgerald 
during her illness.

Mr. Harvey has the misfortune last Thursday to fall from his barn and is now 
under the care of Dr.Smith at last report was getting along nicely.
