The Shaw store has put in a telephone. E.E.Butler is still on the sick list with little change in his condition. Many Orchards people will regret to hear that Miss Terrill,pastor of the Friends Church at Lents,Oregon,died at a Portland hospital yesterday.Rev.Terrill has been in Orhcards frequently and had many friends here. The Langton Ranch was sold to day to a gentleman from Vancouver named Hart. The Langtons expect to move to Vancouver. Mrs.Randall is not as well as when she first reached Orchards. Mrs.John Kaufman and Mr.Walter Wolverton were business visitors at Vancouver yesterday. The ladies of the Altar Society of St,John's Church will give a social at the home of W.J.Lockeed Saturday evening.The guests will play "500" and a plate supper will be served. Mrs.J.J.Kuntz who has been very ill for the past few days,has sustained a paralytic stroke which paralyzed her right side. She is in a very critical condition.
