Mr.Gahnes has gone to Portland on a business trip.He has his new cistern done. Tom Allen has gone to Woodburn to work. Mr.Chandler has resumed work on his well. Mr.Franceth is hauling lumber. Mr. Chandler and wife has a double bee last Wednesday. He had wheat threshed and she had carpet rags sewed and some quilting done.Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Tome Carr,of Mt.Pleasant; Luther Chandler and granddaughter of the same place;Mrs.Viola Turk of Washougal,Mr. and Mrs. Finley and family;Mr. and Mrs. Elam and Pearl Anderson,Mr. Gahnes,Mrs. Zinck,Tom and Wilbur Allen and William Cole.All had a good time and all they could eat.
