Mr.Gahnes has gone to Portland on a business trip.He has his new cistern done. Tom Allen has gone to Woodburn to work. Mr.Chandler has resumed work on his well. Nice weather, nice time, nice crowd at the Harvest Home picnic last Friday, Ccil Sampson being crowned queen. She has not worn since, queer isn't it. Mae Chandler returned last Tuesday from Aberdeen,Wash., accompanied by her uncle,W.H.Graham. Quite a delegation from Portland came up to the picnic. Anna and Elna Chiland, Frank Lawton,Edna Davenport and mrs. Belle Smead. Nellie Marshal is on the hill again after a few weeks stay at Butler,Wash. Blanche Sampson is home again. She has been staying with mrs.A.E.Fitzgerald during her illness. Mr.Harvey has the misfortune last Thursday to fall from his barn and is now under the care of Dr.Smith at last report was getting along nicely.
