W.A. Shoel of the Northwestern Electric Co., motored over from Portland Wednesday. The Civic Improvement Club will meet with Mrs. J.Fleming next Tuesday afternoon, February 2. Walter Anderson, the assistant cashier in the Camas National Bank, spent Wednesday in Portland. Miss Lena Pesio, formerly of this city but now of Portland, spent Sunday visiting friends in Camas. Sam Price left for Portland yesterday morning en route to San Fransisco, where he is going into business. M.J.Hay has leaed the McKever building on Burton street between Second and Third streets. Mr. and Mrs. Pinkney Blair Sr., returned to thei rhome Tuesday after a two weeks stay with their children on Fern Prairie. W.Swank has bought an Overland car of the latest model, turnign in his old car as part paymeny for the new. Mrs. Lee Davenport, who has been a guest for the last few weeks at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W.E.Scott, has left for a visit with friends in California. G.E.Skinner was in Portland yesterday. O.F.Johnson soent yesterday in Portland. J.M.Carrick drove in from Ireland Monday. Mr. and Mrs. J.W.Conn spent Wednesday in Portland. J.W.Conn made a business trip to Portland MOnday. I.S.Laws came in from Fern Prairie yesterday morning. Harry White moved Wednesday to his home on the Heights. R.W.Carmack made a business trip to Portland yesterday. C.A.Newquist of Fern Prairie was a Camas visitor Saturday. Mrs.Geo. J. Kinz visited some friends in Portland Wednesday. T.S.Armstrong of Fern Prairie was a visitor in the city Tuesday. Miss Bessie Self spent the week end at the home of her parents. Kelley Loe was a passenger for Portland at the beginnning of the week. Mrs. H.A. Seaney was a passenger for Portland Monday morning. Mr. and Mrs. J.M.Blair of Woodlawn,Ore., are visiting relatives in Camas. Mrs. Frank Portison and Miss Josephine K.Lesler were Camas visitors Monday. Ulrich Roffler came in from Fern Prairie on Wednesday with a load of potatoes. City Attorney J.D.Currie has been appointed attorney for the town of Washougal.
