Carrick came in from Ireland Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. C.E.Farrell were in Portland Tuesday. Mrs. S.Z. Witmeyer spent the day in Portland Monday. C.B.Jackson made a business trip to Portland Tuesday. Mrs. J.T.Self was a passenger for Portland Tuesday. Harry Baxter was in Portland Tuesday on official business. Mr. and Mrs. Alden spent the day in Portland on Tuesay. Arthur Lamoureux spent Tuesday visiting friends in Portland. T.W. Armstrong of Fern Prairie spent yesterday in Vancouver. Ben Marthen of Fern Prairie was a visitor in the city yesterday. A.C.Jellison was in from his ranch near Orchards Saturday last. Attorney J.D. Currie made a professional trip to Vancouver on Tuesday. Mrs. Tom Plunkett and sister, Mrs. David Hull, spent Saturday at Washougal. Miss Nora Self spent Sunday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.T.Self. Mrs. R.W. Carmack and children were passengers for Portland Wednesday. C.A.Newquist of Fern Prairie was among the farmers who visited town Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Rick came down from Prune Hill on a shopping tour Wednesday. Van Normoyle came over from Portland Saturday evening and visited friends here Sunday. Sheriff Biesecker was a visitor in Camas on Tuesday, accompanied by one of his deputies. Mr. and Mrs. Bill have moved from the English house to the Crawford house on Third street. Fred Palmer, who has been quite ill for some time with asthma and other afflictions. Mrs. J.H. Trumbo visited Portland and while there purchased a new Steinway piano for her home. Mrs. Perkins and two children of Tenino,Wash., are guests at the home of Mrs.Perkins sister, Mrs. Frank Portison. Mr. and Mrs. A.F.Rick of Fern Prairie were in town shopping on Wednesday, accompanied by their little daughter. Harry Parker, who is operating a jitney in Portland, was over Saturday renewing acquaintances, also to order The Post sent to him at 387 1/2 East Burnside. Mrs. M.L.Smith and daughter, Miss Josephine, of Portland, who have been isiting at the home of Mrs.Smith's son, R.B. Knapp of Grass Valley left for their home on Monday morning's train. Miss Erma Brown,of Portland, returned to her home Sunday evening after a visit of several days in Camas, where she was the guest of Miss Alice Morton and at the Brown home on the hill. Mrs.Geo. J.Kinz and children went to Portland yesterday morning and will pass the remainder of the week visiting friends in that city. Dr.Kinz went over last evening,and, with Mrs.Kinz, attended the recital by Alma Gluck last evening.
