Farr spent Tuesday in Portland. R.J. Blair was a passenger for Portland Tuesday. R.L. Robertson came in from Fern Prairie Monday. Ted Nolan's made a business trip to Portland Thursday. C.L. Hoover, of Woodburn, was in Portland Thursday. J.M. Hug went over to Portland Thusday afternoon. John Cowan made a business trip to Portland yesterday. John Dunn came in from Ireland Monday for supplies. Mrs.W.J.Crogan spent the day in Portland yesterday. Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Farrell spent yesterday in Portland. M. Decker, the Woodburn farmer, was a visitor here Monday. John Brunner of Fern Prairie was a visitor in town Tuesday. Marry Baxter was a passenger for Portland yesterday morning. Meeker Wolf of Ireland was in town on a shopping tour on Monday. George Mitchell was among the farmers who visited the city Tuesday. Jack Carrick of Oreland made his usual weekly visit to town on MOnday. B.Barnes was called to the Oregon metropolis yesterday on business. Roy B. Knapp of Grass Valley was a visitor in the city Monday afternoon. Mrs. Harry Baxter, who has been ill for the past two weeks, is somewhat better. Edwin P. Carl, adminstrator of the estate of Peter J. Carl, deceased, was a visitor in the city Monday. Wm. Barnhart, who recently came from Oregon City to work in the mill, left for Floriston, Cal., to accept a position in the paper mill there. Mrs. Emil Schnorr, of Grass Valley, Mrs. Seward and Mrs. Matchet of Portland, sisters, visited Mrs. Charles Fernley and Mrs. Ed Reed this week. Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Scott, who were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.D.Currie while Mr. Scott ws being treated for rheumatism, have returned to their home on Prune Hill.
