We hope for his speedy recovery. Mr. Rassmore is building a small house for Mr. Campbell on his property near the school house. Mrs. Mackey, of Portland, was a Ridgefield visitor Sunday. Mrs.Lucy Cook of LaCeneter, Mrs. Charles Hawkins, Mr. Barkman and Jerry Riordan, were also among our last wek's visitors. Mr. J. C. Kage, of Portland, is visiting relatives here this week. John Hughes is putting up an addition to hsi house. Stephen Nicaudren is helping with the carpenter work. Mr. Maxson will put an addition on his residence this winter. he has part of the material on the ground now. Charles Brice has three ponies badly cut in the wire fence about a week ago. They were in pasture on Mr. Tysziewiez's place and it is supposed they were frightened through the fence from a corrall where some one was trying to lasso ponies.
