LaCamas Post March 21, 1908
Mr. and Mrs. Wm.Haffey went to Stevenson yesterday oon No.2 to visit for a few 
days with Mr.Haffey's relatives.
Mrs.Henderson's brother,from Ohio,arrived the first of this week.His coming 
was a surprise to Mrs.Henderson.They had not met for nearly a score of years.
E.M.Haley is preparing to erect a building on a part of the lot on the 
northwest corner of Third and Clark Streets. Postmaster Poidexter will build 
on the corner of the lot,and Mr. Haley will build just west of him facing east 
on Clark street.
Mrs. John Ginder of White Salmon is visiting her motherMrs.Cowna who has been 
sick for some time.
Capt.Hosford announces that hereafter he will carry passengers to Portland for 
50 cents, round trip for 75 cents.
The Vancouver city council has revoked the liqour license of Al Weaver.Wever's 
bar was in the Washington Hotel,which house he owned.He was recently convicted 
of selling liqou on Sunday.The council has asked for a list of other saloon 
keepers who have violated the laws,and it looks like there might be some big 
doings in the old town.
