LaCamas Post March 28, 1908
Miss Ida johnson went to The Dalles Monday for a few days visit.General 
Superintendent Forrest of the Spokane,Portland &Seattle made a trip of 
inspection over the line in a speical train Tuesday.
The roof o f H.Crawford's dwelling house caught fire Tuesday,and but for the 
timely arrival of assistance the whole town would have been endangered.How the 
fire started is a mystery,as it caught inside the roof,yet no defects in the 
chimney coudl be found.
