LaCamas Post November 14, 1908
A surprise party was given Pinkney Blair at his home near Mill Plain Sunday 
November 8, in honor of his seventieth birthday.
When he returned home from church he found the house filled with guests and 
soon a bountiful dinner was served, to which all did justice.
He received several presents for which he expressed his hearty thanks in a few 
remarks, fo rth epleasure which had been given him.
About 4 o'clock the guests began to depart wishing Mr. Blair many happy 
returns of the day. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Pinkney Blair, Mr. and 
Mrs. Asa Blair, Mr. and Mrs. C.S.Blair, Mr. and Ms. John McQueen, Mr. and Mrs. 
Watt Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. F.W. Blair, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Blair, Mr. and Mrs. 
Robert Blair, Mr. and Mr. J.R. McQueen, Marjorie Blair, Bertrain McQueen, 
Lewis,Mae and Wilmer Robinson, Donna, Nora, Otis, Olive and Jessie Blair, 
Ethel Moore and Lindsey McQueen.
