Gary's place. Mr.Shields has sold 130 acres of the old Kern place on Mt.Norway for $9,000 which was the price of the whole place a year ago. Who sayas real estate is not going up. Chas. Durgna has moved his traction engine to Vancouver, where he is crushing rocks for the road. C.M.Keep and others have bought the Ladd & Bourne ranch at Parkers,paying $13,000 for 270 acres. They will divide the tract into small farms and offer them for sale. Alvin Wall has gone to Portland where he will work in a flour mill this winter. F.Engelson has purhcased the steam bpiler from McKiver of Camas,he also bought a 4 horse power engine and wood saw. He says he will make the sawdust fly now.Galliger is chief engineer. The families that bought the Campden place moved on the first of the week.
