Word coems form Chicago that a license has been issued to Captain Leonard 
Hosford of Portland to marry Miss Marion Kolle of Jamesville,Wisconsin.Captain 
Hosford is a son of Mr. and Mrs. O.W.Hosford and is in command of the 
Wentworth.The Hosfords are well known among Washougal's older inhabitants.

When the caase of Joe Buchel was called in the Superior Court Tuesday he did 
not answer and his bond of $300 was declared forfeited. Buchel was under a 
statuary charge.he is supposed to be in Alaska,and it is said that he is 
wanted in Oregon on a criminal charge.

Mrs.Kelley Loe and children of Camas spent Sunday at the home of Mrs.Eva 
Collard.

Chas.Baab mae a flying trip to town Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Lathrop and little daughter,Wild,left for Salem this week.

Miss Lillan Canaris of Cathlamet is visiting her sister,Mrs. Harry Hawkins.
