Deceased was the mother of R.D.Everett, who died in this city about a year ago. Anna P. Everett Carson was born in Hocking county, Ohio on April 2,1845, and died Janaury 31,1915 at Athena, Ore., after an illness of many months, at the age of 69 years and 9 months. In 1864 she was married to Jasper E.Everett and to this union five children were born, four of whomk preceded her to that better land. In the early seventies they moved to Iowa, where her husband died in the year 1877. In 1880 she was married to Wm.Carson, and to this union two children were born, one of them dying in infancy. Being left a wifow again, in 1898, she moved to Oregon in 1902, where she has since resided. At an early age she united with the Christian Church, and has lived a devoted Christian. She leaves to mourn her loss two childre, Mrs.Eva Orndorff and Ross Everett; six granchildren, two brothers and sisters, besides a host of friends for none knew her but to love her. Funeral services were held in the Church of Christ by the pastor Monday afternoon, February 1st, after which the remains were laid away to rest in the beautiful Camas Cemetery.
