LaCamas Post September 19,1908
Mss Lizzie Dowd died in Portland,Sept.5,and was brougth to her home her for 
burials Sept.10.She was born in March 1887,and lived all of her life where she 
was born,near LaCamas.Besides her parents she leaves three sisters,Mrs.Walter 
Glenn,of San FRansisco,Mrs.Page of Los angeles, and Nellie Dowd of Portland.
While she had not been enjoying good health for some months,Miss Dowd was not 
considered seriously ill,and went to Portland only one week before her death.
The remains were met at the train by a large crowd of her friends and 
neighbors,who were shocked by her untimely death.
