LaCamas Post March 14,1908
John Marrin was born in Ireland in 1830 and came to New York when eleven years 
of age.He grew to manhood there,and just before the breaking out of tyhe civil 
war he went to Texas,living in that state until a number of years ago,when he 
moved to this state,settling near LaCamas.He was married in 1861. He died 
Saturday morning,andwas buried in LaCamas cemetery Subdaymthe funeral services 
being conducted by the Masonic order,and Rev.Mr.Noble pronouncing the 
religious service.Deceased was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church. 
The funeral was in charge of the Knapp Undertaking Company.
