Her husband came here in November,1836,from st.Daivod's,Canada. The decesed was born in Meath County, Ireland,her parents emigrswting to Oregon in 1844 overland. She was married the same day the act establishing Oregon Territory was approved by the president, August 14,1848,in th eold chapel built in the reservation by priests sent out in 1838 by Bishop Quebec. She resided here continously ever since, raising a large family of children,eight of whom survive her.Charles A Petarin, the attorney of Portland, and Mrs. Bloomfield,wife o fJudge Bloomfield, of Vanncouver, being among them. She was one of the oldest pioneers iin the state. The remains will be interred Monday at 10 a.m. from the cathedral.
