John T.Roth, a well known resident of Washougal,this county,died Saturday at 
his home of paralysis.He received the first stroke three years ago,but 
recovered apparently and enjoyed good health until last Thursday,when at 
Mt.Pleasant dock he was suddenly stricken again.
John T.Roth was born in Wisconsin,January 17,1866.With his parents he came to 
this county when a boy,and resided here continously up to the time of his 
death.He is survived by a widow and one son,the aged parents,Mr. and Mrs. 
Theodore Roth,four sisters and two brothers. The sisters are Mrs. Banfield of 
Camas,Washington;Mrs. Freeman of Portland,Oregon; Mrs. J.J. Beauregard of 
Vancouver and Miss Mary Roth,who resides at the family home as do also the two 
brothers,Joseph and Theodore.The widow was before her marriage Miss Maggie 
Durgan,also of a well known family of Clark County.
