Bruce was born on August 6, 1946 in Lodi, CA. where he lived for 31 years. He graduated from Lodi High in 1964, served in the US Army for 3 years and completed the education needed to start his career as a journeyman electrician. He and his family moved to the state of Washington in 1977 where they established their new home on 30 acres and began a tree farm as part of the WA Reforestation Project. Bruce was an avid motorcyclist. He spent most of his early life racing motocross and later shifted to street riding on one of his many Harleys. The restoration and racing of antique motor bikes was also something he enjoyed. His relaxing time was spent on the tree farm he loved, feeding his fish and talking to his growing trees. Bruce made many special friends during his 15 years of employment at NORPAC in Longview, Washington where he worked as a millwright until his retirement in 2005. Survivors include his wife of seven years, Janene Wagenman, at home in LaCenter, his children; son Benjamin Wagenman, in Colorado and his daughter, Barbara Widlund, in Brush Prairie, his granddaughter, Jessica Wagenman, in Colorado; his father Ben Wagenman, and sister Noreen Freund both living in CA. Bruce was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Wagenman. A celebration of his life will be held at his home in LaCenter on Jan. 7, 2006 between 1pm and 4 pm.
