Mr. Willerts was stricken by paralysis while in Southern California some months ago, and since that time has been helpless. His demise was hastened by a fall a few days ago.He leaves a widow and four grown children as follows,Oral J.,of Walla Walla; Orno L.,of San Fransisco; Victor C., of Chicago; and a daughter,Mrs. Reta Willert Anderson,a teacher in the Washougal schools. Deceased was actively engaged in the ministry of the Presbyterian Churh in Oregon and Washington for thirty years, five of which were spent in home missionary work in Oregon, eight as pastor of Cavalry Church of Tacoma, several years as a pasotr at large in Western Washington and five as a general evangelist. He had also been moderator of the synod of Washington and a delegate to the general assembly. He was twice married,in 1884 to Miss Agnes Helen Sims of Oil Springs,Ont., to whom were born the children named, and who died in 1891. Four years later he was married in Vancouver,Wash., to Miss Lillian J.Russell who survives him.He was well known as a drugless physician during the last few years. Mr.Willert was born 69 years ago nar Toronto,Canada, was graduated from the university of that city and from the Princeton Theological Seminary in 1883. The funeral was held from the Russell residence at Washougal on Wednesday morning,Rev.Mr.Clapp officiating, and the internment was at the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
