Schoolday Love Affair Ends in Marriage
Witnessed by a few friends of the groom the marriage of Charles Seaton of this 
city, and Miss Alice Barnes of Hotchkins,Colorado, was solemnized; in their 
newly furnished apartment in the Blake building last evening at 8 
o'clock,Rev.W.I.Eck officiating.
Miss Barnes made a trip of 3000 miles to join her fiance, arriving in Portland 
yesterday afternoon. She encountered several delays on the way coming almost a 
week later than was expected.They came from Portland by auto arriving here at 
7 o'clock.
The groom has been a resident in this city for the past few years having been 
employed as a druggist at Allquist's. The bride is an old school sweetheart of 
the groom to whom she has been engaged for some time. Mr. Seaton returned on a 
visit last summer when all the arrangements were completed.
The groom has had handsomely furnished the apartments at the Blaker building 
all prepared and ready for some time.
