L. McKinley. Rev.E.S. Bollinger, pastor of the First Congregational Church of this city, performed the ceremony in the presence of the families of the bride and groom and a small group of intimate friends. The ceremony was performed under a bower of green which was relieved on either side by clusters of white narcisusses. Later a buffet lunch was served. The bride was charming in a gown of white pussy willow taffeta with pearl trimming. She carried an arm bouquet of ophelia roses and white narcissuses. Her going away costume was dark brown. Mr. and Mrs. Allen left that evening for a short honeymoon and will depart Tuesday evening for their new home at Smith's Ferry, Idaho. Mrs. Allen is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.L. McKinley. She is a graduate of the Vancouver High school and of the Good Samaritan hospital of Portland, and during the world war served overseas with the hospital Union No. 46. Since her return to the city she has been doing Red Cross work. Mr. Allen is with the Boise Payette Lumber Company of Idaho.
