Harris (most probably his son). Several family members, spouses and neighbors were buried on the premises. To get to this property take Exit 32 from I-5 onto the Kalama River Road. Proceed until you reach Mountain View Road. Continue until the road forks, stay to the left fork. Stop at the Spreadborough house for further directions. The land is currently owned by the Spreadborough family. The cemetery is located in the woods 1/4 mile from the road on the north side. Near by is also another home burial, that of Christian MUCHLEISON, (6 May 1855-3 Oct 1938). He was a batchlor who was buried on his own property according to local funeral home records. According to a 1942 Metsker map of Cowlitz County, Mr. Muchleison had land in the northwest corner of section 25. There is suppose to be a stone at the gravesite and is reported to be beneath a power line in a ravine. The area can be reached by going up Mt. Pleasant Road, go to the fork in the road and stay right until you reach the end. This is not public road and permission needs to be granted to go there. The land is currently owned by Weyerhaeuser Company and has been logged. Submitted by Caren Gimper January 6, 2004.
