James Amrine, 75, of Toledo died April 28, 2006.

He was born Aug. 5, 1930, to Hazel and Joseph Amrine in Perico, N.M. and moved 
with his family to Onalaska when he was 8.

Mr. Amrine married Jeanette Rakoz in 1953, and they made their home in Toledo 
for 53 years.  He retired from Darigold, where he worked for 42 years.

He is survived by his wife; sons Ron Amrine, Mike Amrine and Bob Amrine; 
daughter Kay Lyon; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brother 
Herbert Amrine; sisters Josephine Severns and Doris Robinette; and numerous 
nieces and nephews.

There will be no service at Mr. Amrine's request.

Donations may be made to the Toledo High School Scholarship Fund, in care of 
the school, PO Box 469, Toledo, WA 98591.
