Gustave Paul Aronson, 83, of Kelso, Washington died January 26, 2006 in Kelso.

He was born November 14, 1922 in Seattle, Washington, the son of Thor and Edna 
(Elliott) Aronson.  He had lived in the local area for 19 years.  Paul 
graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1940.  August 7, 1948, he married 
Lucille Ellen (Bowers) Aronson.  He retired as a Logistics Manager for Ogden 
Burtco of Seattle (19 Years).  Prior to that, he was a Fire Inspector for 
Boeing, Seattle and Firefighter for Aberdeen Fire Dept. for 9 years.  He was in 
the U.S. Navy during WWII.  His memberships included Third Degree Member of 
Knights of Columbus, and Fraternal Order of Eagles.  He loved to camp in their 
RV, fish and enjoyed the company of his children, family, friends, and most 
especially his many grandchildren.  Paul was known for his keen sense of humor, 
quick wit and generous nature.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille Aronson of Kelso; five daughters, Paula 
Dey, Linda Heater, Kathleen Torrey, Rebecca McKenna, and Laura Hanna; three 
sons, Eric Aronson, Patrick Aronson, and Richard Aronson; brothers, John 
Aronson and Daryll Aronson, both of Aberdeen, Washington; 23 grandchildren, and 
6 great grandchildren.

A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at 12:15 pm on Monday, January 30, 2006 at 
Immaculate Heart of Mary, Kelso, Washington.  Memorial contributions can be 
make to your charity of choice.
