James O. Backman, 95, of Vancouver died May 21, 2006. 

He was born July 19, 1910, in Winlock to Oscar and Clara Backman. 

Mr. Backman lived in Centralia prior to moving to Vancouver two years ago. 

He is survived by his wife, Jessie Backman; two sons, James Backman and Richard 
Backman; three brothers, Willis Backman, Earl Backman and Burton Backman; six 
grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. 

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Winlock Cemetery. 

Arrangements are by Cattermole Funeral Home.
